Read this before you pay — it matters.
Filing an ICO complaint is completely free. You can do it yourself right now at
ico.org.uk or by calling
0303 123 1113. You do not need us and you do not need a solicitor.
What you are paying £29 for is the
preparation — a properly structured complaint citing the correct Articles, a clear chronology, and guidance on filing it. If you are comfortable writing that yourself, please do. We publish the relevant rights free at
our GDPR guide.
We do not file it for you. The complaint is yours, in your name. That is deliberate — the ICO deals with the data subject directly and a complaint carries more weight coming from you.
What you receive
✓A complete written complaint
Structured the way the ICO expects, citing Articles 17, 12(3) and 12(4), with a dated chronology of what you sent and when.
✓Filing guidance
Step by step: where to go, what to attach, what to expect and how long it takes.
✓Realistic expectations
An honest account of what the ICO can and cannot do, so you are not disappointed.
✓Reviewed before it is sent
Checked personally rather than fired out automatically.
Before you order — three checks
1Has a full calendar month passed?
The organisation has one month from receipt. Complaining early weakens your position.
2Did you send a follow-up?
Not strictly required, but the ICO expects you to have given them a fair chance. It also often prompts compliance on its own — try it free first.
3Do you still have the emails?
You will need to attach them. Check your sent folder before ordering.
